Our system is unable to accept International Driver’s Permits/ Licenses.
CityBee cars can be used to travel within the European Union (or where CityBee car insurance is valid). However, you need to get our prior permission first.
The permission request must be sent to the general email addresses:
You can contact the LT team via info@citybee.lt;
You can contact the LV team via info@citybee.lv;
You can contact the EE team via info@citybee.ee.
Before deciding whether to allow to transport CityBee car outside of LT, LV or EE, we will assess our technical and organisational capabilities and your history of using CityBee services.
Please note that you can drive to Latvia and Estonia without the permission, but if you leave the car in one of these countries (in a zone marked in the CityBee app), there is an additional charge of 79EUR. The charge is applicable regardless of the registration number of the car.
Once you reserve a car, you are able to keep it reserved for you 15 minutes for free. However, if you need to keep the car reserved for longer – you can choose to extend your reservation by clicking “Extend the reservation”.
The price for extended reservation costs as much as the time price for that specific car displayed in the price list.
The maximum duration of the extended reservation is 24 hours. If you do not unlock a car by selecting “Unlock” in the app within that period, the reservation will discontinue and you will be charged for the time used. You can cancel the extended reservation anytime. In this case, you will pay only for the used paid reservation time.
The app provides the opportunity to communicate personally with passengers or the driver:
If you are a driver – in the „Chats“ section you will be able to see all the passengers whose reservations you have already confirmed, and in this way you will be able to contact them directly;
If you are a passenger – in the „Chats“ section you will be able to see the driver who accepted your request and you will be able contact the driver.
The possibility of chatting for passengers occurs not only after submitting a reservation request, but also before it is submitted – in this way, the passenger can contact the driver and get any additional information about the trip.
BeePool is a tool that allows several passengers to travel in one car. The app allows you to simply and quickly invite fellow passengers to join a trip that is already planned or find a route that suits your needs best.
